Participants in the Leadership and Management Courses at CMI Level 5 are given the opportunity to examine and improve their own management practices. Participants will be exposed to a variety of leadership models, theories, and case studies from which they can draw inspiration for crafting an individual leadership style that is consistent with the organisation’s stated goals and core values.
Successful businesses are built on the shoulders of their employees. Delegates will learn how to build a culture of delivering results by leveraging team-based approaches to work and factors that support high performance in teams. The sessions will emphasise practical skills such as leading challenging conversations, the significance of listening, and the importance of providing performance-oriented feedback. More than anything else, students will be challenged to develop their capacity for creative problem-solving and to lead their teams effectively through times of transition.
Students taking this course will gain the knowledge, understanding, and self-assurance necessary to assume leadership roles in any organisation. They’ll assess their influence and learn techniques for interacting with others, such as persuasion, conflict resolution, and building a culture of success in their spheres of influence. Anyone in a managerial role who interacts with employees or other interested parties would benefit greatly from taking this training.
