MECHANICSVILLE, Md. — We are receiving reports of a crash this evening that has one person being flown to a nearby hospital.
At approximately 3:54 p.m. on March 6, first responders were alerted to a crash that had taken place at the Maryland International Raceway, that had reportedly left one person with serious injuries.
Crews responding had been informed that the male victim had been knocked unconscious after the crash.
A private ambulance had been previously stationed at the track, to standby for potential injuries, called for the patient to be flown out.
