ST. MARY’S COUNTY, Md. — The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing person last seen in the Great Mills area earlier this week.
According to a critical alert issued Saturday, June 7, authorities are actively searching for 60-year-old Kenneth Lee Lantz, a white male last seen on foot near the intersection of Rt 5 and Wilderness Road.
Lantz was last observed wearing a long sleeve brown/orange flannel shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers. No known direction of travel has been confirmed.
Officials have labeled the case “at risk,” noting the urgency and severity of the situation. The alert categorizes the incident as presenting a significant threat to life or property and calls for immediate public vigilance.
Community members who may have seen Lantz or have information that could assist investigators are urged to contact the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
