
WALDORF, Md. — A woman in her 40s was taken to a hospital Thursday afternoon after her vehicle crashed into the U.S. Post Office building in Waldorf.
The crash was reported around 2:45 p.m. on June 25, 2026, at 150 Post Office Road.
The caller reported that a vehicle had gone into the building and that the woman appeared conscious, alert and breathing but looked dazed after the crash.
Fire and rescue crews responded for a motor vehicle crash involving a vehicle into a building. Crews reported the vehicle had struck the structure, but the building was not believed to be in danger of collapse.
A tactical command and rapid intervention team were requested while crews evaluated the scene.
The woman was removed from the vehicle and taken by ambulance to UM Charles Regional Medical Center.
Police are investigating the crash.
